Review Part II: Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man

Well, I hope you got the gist of what the book is all about. I sure have and I think it’s a decent book. A lot of it is common sense, but he did have some great pointers. Such as men are simple and the main reason they do most things is to impress women. Also, when they ask a woman for her number, they’re usually thinking of how much to invest and how fast can this woman sleep with me.  This week’s chapters reviewed are: “Why Men Cheat,” “The 90 Day Sex Rule,” and “The Five Questions You Should Ask A Man Before You Get Too Deep.” 

Why Men Cheat

1. Because they can.
2. They think they can get away with it… like by having two phones or lying about their cheating.
3. The biggest reason: There’s a woman out there willing to cheat with him.  There are so many women willing to give themselves up to a man who doesn’t belong to them.

The 90 Day Sex Rule

You should hold out the “cookies” for 90 days if you are dating someone. Steve points out that the rule showcases your willpower and he asks, “Where are the guys you slept with less than 90 days?”…”Nowhere!”

During those 90 days you can really get to know him without sexual activity hindering your perspective.

Waiting does matter.  Don’t think he’s going out and having sex with other women. Men do like to wait because that shows you have class.

Stay focus and do things together: church, picnic, sexy Latin dance class, or a family barbeque.

The 5 Questions You Must Ask Your Potential Man Are:

1. What are your short-term goals? – These are the key elements that make a man.
2. What are your long term goals? – If he has a vision than you will see it and if you don’t agree with his long term goals than you guys make not work.
3. What are your views on relationships- Open, long term, long distance, etc.
4. What do you think about me? He most likely will say your cool, funny etc…
5. How do you FEEL about me? – This must be a deep answer… “I think about you when you’re not next to me… I pray for you…”
