We are bringing back the BookClub! I know, I know, you didn’t know it left.  Well, it did. Somewhere between, MySpace, Flava of Love and  Twitter, we lost the love of getting together to discuss books.  Well, I feel it’s my duty to bring it back to the forefront.  Okay, let me be honest. It won’t be my duty, but I do know that I will be in this bookclub! 

One of our writers, Deneen Busby, has taken on the task of critiquing as she reads.  She will share her thoughts on highlights of the story and you will leave comments about them as well! So, now that we have everybody’s tasks assigned, let’s get to reading!

As you know, the novel Push by Sapphire has been made into a movie starring Mo’Nique and Mariah Carey. Let’s read it before it hits the big screen. They say the books are usually better than the movies anyway!

    I did read this book and it is a good book it is a hard read but when you get in to it you will understand why. Looking forward to the movie

    If you like this story Push, You must check out this book called An Angel Watches over me by Maliakah Ward. You would not believe that this girl survied all the hell she went though. This is a true story.Check it out.

    I just finished watching the movie Precious…I didn’t know that it was a book out too. I am a person who loves to read..especially books based on true stories and books that I can relate to. It would be so nice to receive a free copy of this book. I also would like to join the SisterGirlz.
