The 85% Niche! The Power of Women of All Colors!

Ladies, the economy is tough right now, but believe time and GENDER are on our sides! I know that while the man is supposed to be the “head of the house”, women have almost always kept up the slack.  WE control the NECK on that Head of the House with our spending power! Here a few quick stats I picked up from Miriam Muley’s book , The 85% Niche.  Ms. Muley has been in business for years and has seen the power and influence of women of ALL COLORS in her executive positions at GM and Avon. She is currently running a business consultancy for companies hoping to boost their market share among women. 

• Women influence 85% of all Consumer purchases- from autos to health care!
• Women generate $46 million in online buying
• Hispanic women are the LARGEST ethnic women’s group in the country!!
• Asian women have the highest college graduate population in America (compared to other women)

• As of 2007: Black women’s economic buying power totals $525 Billion
• As of 2007 : Latina’s economic buying power totals $284 Billion
• As of 2007: Asian women’s economic power totals $133 Billion

These statistics are amazing to me! SistaGirlz, we are running this country! Heck we are giving birth to this country’s population! According to reports in 20 years, all children under the age of 18 will be Latino, Black or Asian American! Yet, companies still don’t recognize our power.

Their loss. Divas if you are business minded, you might want to tap into a field and target US! You know who we are and what we like! Plus, the fabulous Miriam Muley can help you out!
